As an affiliate of the National Black Law Students Association (NBLSA), our chapter focuses on enaging with the legal community to the needs of the black community, promoting the professional needs of black law students, and assisting in the recruitment, retention, and placement of black students.
Univeristy of San Diego's BLSA chapter aims to utilize the resources of the University of San Diego School of Law and the San Diego legal community to promote the educational, professional, and social development of black law students. We strive to increase our presence within the legal community while preparing our members for successful legal careers. We aim to give back to the community and bring meaningful change to address the needs of the San Diego community. It is our goal to contribute to a greater future of black lawyers by increasing black enrollment in law school through education and encouragement.
